A: Each PEMF setting runs on a 30-minute preprogrammed cycle, but you can restart it anytime. Our PBM (PhotoBioModulation aka Red Light Therapy) timer defaults to two hours because the pad is primarily used on the torso and legs, areas that can safely receive longer exposure. The 30-minute guideline mainly applies to the head and face. You can turn the red lights off at any time if you prefer shorter sessions.
Q: The timer goes up to 12 hours and defaults to 8, what does this control?
A: That timer controls the infrared heat only. It allows users to enjoy gentle warmth throughout the night if desired. The PBM and PEMF functions are operated independently from this timer.
Q: Since PEMF and PBM seem so similar, what’s the benefit of using them together?
